when I was little, I was Alexandra. then that was shortened to Alex. my mum named me Lexi, and that was shortened to Lex. now, thanks to PJ and his family, I’m sometimes Lexxy, although still mostly just Lex. some teachers call me Alex, and some call me Lex. my extended family are just about getting used to Lex, although they have trouble with it sometimes.

I like the idea that you can create your own name for yourself.
I like being Lex.

When I was little, I was Victorya. Then that was shortened to Tory. That stuck for a while, then I decided to use my middle name, Serenity. That got shortened to Serry and I was called that up until Grade 4, when I switched back to Tory.

I was Tory up until two summers ago when I started using blogtv and youtube. I didn’t really want to you my “real” name, so the internet came to know me as my initials. Vee Bee.

I’ve had quite a few nicknames throughout my life… Tony, Tilly, Bumblebee, Vocee Bear, Vix, Veebs, Veebsy, and, worst of all, Vicky. My favourite nickname has to be Veebsy (given to me by youtube’s iianardo) as a way of shortening “veebeeseesyou”. He said that, when I came into chatrooms, all you could see of my username was “veebeesee”, so he called me Veebsy. :)
